The Walter H. Gage Residence has three high-rise towers housing a total of 1,182 residents. Each floor in the high-rise is divided into four furnished "quads".

Each quad has a small living/kitchen area shared by all six residents, a bedroom area consisting of six single bedrooms, and a large communal bathroom. Quads are designated for men or for women,and most are non-smoking units. Basic cablevision is supplied in the living rooms. Telephone jacks are in the living room and each bedroom. Telephone service is arranged independently by residents with Telus.

The Gage Apartments is a four storey apartment building located beside the Gage High-rise towers, consisting of 95 studios, 64 one-bedroom and 3 two-bedroom apartments. The Gage Apartments are furnished with a bed, dresser, desk, a dining table and chairs and modular sofa seating. All utilities such as heat, light, electricity, cablevision and hot water are included in the residence fee. Residents must supply their own cooking utensils.
